The Narcissist's Profile Picture

So this was interesting to say the least. I thought it was easy a crap to do it when you have a model, but doing it with a timer and looking in a mirror is hard. So I learned a lot and I think this is kind of cool.

Artist Profile: Daisuke Takakura

Is a photographer from Japan that uses cloning to make his work stand out from the rest. Takakura says that the project is his exploration of the idea of “self” and the idea of a person meeting many versions of themselves. His title refers to the type of theater in which one actor is featured through the entire production.
In this series, Takakura puts the actor in the frame of a photo and has that person interacting with numerous clones. He wanted to “harness the expressive power of theater in a still image,”.

I think that is work is really awesome and to me quite flawless! I really respect his dedication and his ability to put so much interest into his work.

The good, bad the ugly of cloning.

The Bad.....

This is just really awkward to see the same person multiplied in this image. It was just weird to me how they did it.

The plain ugly.....

Seriously dude! Who copies things like this.

The Good.....

This is a really good example and all the images are integrated really well.

The amazing!

To me this is just really cool to look at!
